Estimating Lead – Infrastructure & Buildings

We are seeking a qualified Estimator Lead with a minimum of 15 years of UAE experience to lead and manage the estimation function for building and infrastructure projects, ensuring accurate, competitive, and commercially sound cost estimates are prepared in support of the company’s tendering activities. The position is responsible for managing the estimation team and providing reliable pricing and cost information to the Tender Manager for tender submission and decision-making.

Your tasks and responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to:

• Lead and supervise the estimation team for building and infrastructure projects.
• Review tender documents, BOQs, drawings, and specifications.
• Prepare and review cost estimates, pricing, and quantity take-offs.
• Review subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Ensure accurate and competitive tender pricing.
• Identify cost risks, assumptions, and potential savings.
• Coordinate with technical, procurement, and commercial teams.
• Provide pricing recommendations to the Tender Manager.
• Ensure estimates are completed accurately and within tender deadlines.
• Maintain cost databases and historical pricing information.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in estimation and tendering.
• Strong experience in building and infrastructure projects
  , preferably with a main contractor or EPC/construction company in UAE.
• Proven experience in managing or supervising an estimation team.
• Strong knowledge of construction costs, methods, materials, and market rates.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing large-scale tenders and commercial proposals.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict tender deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to review complex tender documents and identify risks and discrepancies.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
