Job description
We are seeking for a Project Manager who is responsible for the successful execution and delivery of assigned IRTH Contracting projects in accordance with the contract, approved scope, programme, budget, quality, HSSE and authority requirements.
The role has direct responsibility for organising project resources, coordinating construction activities, managing subcontractors and ensuring that drawings, materials, labour, plant, approvals and work fronts are available when required.
The Project Manager acts as the primary coordination point between the project execution team and the central Planning, Cost Control, Procurement, Commercial & Contracts, Design and Engineering, MEP, QA/QC and HSSE functions.

Project Planning and Mobilisation- Review the contract, scope, drawings, specifications, programme, budget and project requirements.
- Establish the project execution plan, organisation structure, responsibility matrix and communication procedures.
- Coordinate mobilisation of project personnel, subcontractors, temporary facilities, permits, plant, equipment and site services.
- Identify critical activities, long-lead items, project risks and execution constraints at an early stage.
- Establish clear project objectives, priorities and performance expectations.
- Ensure that required approvals, insurances, securities, permits and project documentation are in place.
- Lead the day-to-day execution and coordination of the project from mobilisation through completion.
- Ensure that works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and programmes.
- Coordinate civil, structural, architectural, MEP and specialist works.
- Ensure that sufficient labour, supervision, materials, plant and work fronts are available.
- Monitor productivity, sequencing and resource utilisation and implement corrective measures where required.
- Chair regular project progress, coordination and performance meetings.
- Resolve site constraints promptly and elevate matters requiring senior-management intervention.
- Prevent unauthorised work, commitments or deviations from approved project requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of progress, instructions, changes, delays, risks and decisions.
- Coordinate with Planning in developing and maintaining the baseline programme, detailed schedules and look-ahead plans.
- Monitor actual progress against contractual and internal milestones.
- Ensure that site priorities and resource requirements are aligned with the approved programme.
- Identify delays, critical-path impacts and emerging constraints at an early stage.
