GLOBAL ENCYCLOPAEDIA GENERAL CONT is seeking an experienced, results-driven Site Engineer to manage and coordinate site activities across multiple construction projects in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities Contractor & Site CoordinationCoordinate with main contractors to ensure continuous work fronts, material availability, delivery schedules, and site unloading
Assess completed works, prepare accurate measurement documentation, and submit progress reports
Obtain formal sign-off from the main contractor's representative for completed works
Monitor progress against schedules and report delays or issues to management
Oversee multiple construction sites simultaneously, planning and allocating manpower per site priorities
Supervise foremen, drivers, skilled workers, and labor to maintain productivity and quality
Identify and resolve labor- and site-related issues promptly
Interpret and implement construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements
Ensure work complies with approved drawings, specifications, quality, and safety standards
Supervise interlock paving, kerbstone installation, concrete works, and related infrastructure activities
Conduct regular quality inspections and work independently with accountability for site performance
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
1–5 years of Site Engineering experience in the UAE, preferably with a subcontractor
Proven experience in road or infrastructure projects (mandatory)
Strong hands‑on experience in interlock, kerbstone, and concrete works
Proven ability to manage manpower across multiple active sites
Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder‑management skills
Familiarity with UAE construction standards, codes, and regulations
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project preferred
Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory)
Willingness to travel between project sites across the UAE
A technically strong, hands‑on Site Engineer experienced in managing multiple sites and manpower, well-versed in UAE construction practices and regulations, and Strong in planning, problem-solving, and communication detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety; flexible to work across different locations in the UAE.
