Parsons is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer
- Infrastructure Civil in Abu Dhabi, UAE to support construction supervision of major road, bridge, utility, and infrastructure works. Reporting to the Resident Engineer, the role will coordinate site supervision activities, monitor contractor performance, review technical submissions, oversee inspectors and surveyors, and help ensure construction complies with approved specifications, quality requirements, safety procedures, and project schedules. The Assistant Resident Engineer will also provide on-site technical direction, coordinate with service authorities and design engineers, monitor construction progress, maintain project records, and support the handover of completed utility works.

The position requires extensive infrastructure construction experience together with proven supervision experience on large-scale projects in Abu Dhabi.

• Construction Supervision
  - Report directly to the Resident Engineer and assist with supervision of roads, infrastructure, utilities, bridges, and associated works.
• Act on behalf of the Resident Engineer during periods of absence or leave.
• Coordinate daily activities with engineers and other members of the construction supervision team.
• Monitor contractor activities and verify that work proceeds according to approved project requirements.
• Provide necessary on-site direction within the assigned area of responsibility.
• Assist the Resident Engineer in issuing site instructions related to utility works and associated activities.
• Coordinate with contractor engineers regarding schedules and deployment of resources.
• Monitor construction progress against programmed activities.
• Assist with reviews of shop drawings and design proposals.
• Review method statements and other technical submissions.
• Coordinate correspondence related to utility and infrastructure activities.

• Site Team Management The Assistant Resident Engineer will provide direct supervision and coordination across field inspection and surveying activities to maintain consistent construction oversight.
