Senior Planning Engineer

Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.

Monitor project progress and identify potential delays and risks.

Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients.

Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractor to ensure project milestones are achieved.

Analyze project performance and recommend corrective actions when necessary.

Prepare recovery schedules and mitigation plans for delayed activities.

Track project productivity, resources, and manpower utilization.

Support the preparation of claims, EOT submissions, and project control documentation.

Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and project deadlines.

Candidates must have extensive experience with main contracting companies

Experience in UAE/GCC construction projects is highly preferred.

Candidates from consultancy backgrounds only will not be considered

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
.

Minimum 12+ years of experience in the construction and contracting industry.

Proven experience working with main contractors on villas, hotels, building, residential, infrastructure, or mixed-use projects.

Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting.

Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
.

Experience in preparing baseline programs, recovery programs, look-ahead schedules, and progress reports.

Strong understanding of project execution, construction sequencing, and resource planning.

Ability to conduct delay analysis and prepare extension of time (EOT) claims is an advantage.

Familiar with contract requirements and project controls procedures.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.
