The Project Director will be responsible for the management, strategic planning, and effective delivery of the program/project packages in accordance program objectives and Leadership expectations.

Description
Collaborate with design and delivery teams to develop project briefs and technical requirements for the procurement of consultants and service providers.
Work closely with procurement and design functions to support the selection and appointment of project consultants, ensuring project teams are appropriately structured and optimized.
Lead and manage external consultants across assigned projects, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, delivery schedules, budgets, project objectives, and quality standards.
Develop and implement project delivery strategies for assigned projects and present recommendations and progress updates to senior leadership.
Identify and drive early works opportunities to accelerate project delivery and maximize efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead Value Engineering initiatives at key project milestones to optimize design solutions, enhance value for money, and achieve project objectives within budget.
Oversee project risk management processes in coordination with HSE, design teams, consultants, and contractors to identify, mitigate, and manage project risks effectively.
Coordinate with project controls teams on scheduling, change management, reporting, claims management, and overall project performance.
Partner with procurement and commercial teams to manage contractual and commercial matters, ensuring compliance with governance requirements and achievement of optimal commercial outcomes.
Coordinate with stakeholder management teams and external authorities to facilitate timely statutory approvals, permits, and regulatory clearances.
Provide leadership, direction, and performance oversight to Associate Directors and project teams to ensure effective project execution and delivery.
Manage relationships with end users, clients, and key stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and timely reporting on project status, risks, and performance.
Ensure all Health, Safety, Sustainability, Security, and Environment (HSSE) requirements are fully integrated into project planning and execution.
Monitor consultant and contractor payment processes, ensuring timely certification, approval, and resolution of any payment-related issues.
Take proactive action on underperforming projects by identifying issues, assessing impacts, developing recovery plans, and presenting mitigation strategies to senior management.
Drive successful delivery of projects in line with approved scope, schedule, budget, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.
Profile- A strong background in construction project management within the leisure, travel, and tourism industry.
- Proven expertise in managing large-scale projects effectively.
- Excellent knowledge of construction regulations and safety standards.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant educational qualifications in construction, engineering, or a related field.
