Superintendent - Construction (EIT)

Department: Construction/ Project Execution
Job DescriptionDirect Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecommunications construction across assigned areas, coordinating resources and interfaces toachieve safe system completion.
Key Responsibilities- Lead supervisors and subcontractors delivering electrical, instrumentation and telecommunications installations.
- Plan area priorities, manpower and equipment against construction and system completion milestones.
- Coordinate cable containment, cable installation, equipment erection, instrument installation and related interfaces.
- Confirm engineering, material, access and permit readiness before releasing work fronts.
- Monitor productivity, contractor performance andshort term recovery actions.
- Coordinate inspections, testing readiness andpunch clearance with QA/QC and commissioning teams.
- Enforce permit, isolation and energizationcontrols within the approved authorization structure.
- Report progress, constraints and completion risks to construction management.
- Degree or diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation or a related engineering discipline.
- 12+ years in EIT construction, including 5+years in site leadership or superintendent responsibilities.
