We are hiring an experienced HSEOfficer with proven exposure to TBM operations, tunneling and underground construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE requirements across TBM and tunnelingactivities.
- Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, inductions and safety observations.
- Monitor high-risk activities including TBM operations, shaftworks, confined spaces, lifting, excavation, segment installation and underground logistics.
- Review and ensure compliance with RAMS, JSA/JHA, PTW, LOTO andconfined-space procedures.
- Monitor tunnel ventilation, gas detection, fire prevention,emergency access/egress and rescue arrangements.
- Investigate incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions andensure timely closure of corrective actions.
- Coordinate closely with construction, TBM, lifting and engineering teams.
- Maintain HSE reports, inspection records and statutory documentation.
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety or related field.
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of HSE experience.
- Proven experience in TBM, tunneling or underground construction projects is essential.
- Strong knowledge of confined-space safety, underground hazards,emergency response and heavy construction activities.
- UAE/GCC project experience preferred.
- Good communication, reporting and coordination skills.
- Candidates with experience inmetro, utility tunnels, sewage tunnels, road tunnels or major infrastructureprojects will be highly preferred.
