Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review civil engineering drawings, designs, specifications and calculations
- Supervise construction activities to ensure work is completed according to approved drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, architects, MEP teams and project management
- Conduct regular site inspections and monitor construction progress
- Ensure work complies with approved designs, project specifications, codes and authority requirements
- Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship and coordinate with QA QC team
- Review and resolve technical issues, RFIs, shop drawings and material submittals
- Monitor project progress against the approved programme and milestones
- Assist with quantity measurements, BOQs, material requirements and cost control
- Coordinate surveying, setting‑out, levels and site measurements
- Identify construction problems and provide appropriate engineering solutions
- Ensure proper implementation of health, safety and environmental requirements on site
- Prepare and maintain site reports, inspection records, progress reports and technical documentation
- Coordinate inspections with consultants and relevant authorities
- Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure works are completed as per contractual requirements
- Participate in testing, commissioning, snagging and handover activities
- Review as-built drawings and ensure project documentation is completed before handover
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Familiarity with MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision‑making abilities.
- Strong analytical and technical skills.
