- Implement and monitor Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures at project sites.
- Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, company requirements, and project safety standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
- Identify hazards and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and maintain HSE reports, inspection records, incident reports, and safety documentation.
- Monitor safe working practices for electrical, excavation, cable laying, cable pulling, and other infrastructure activities.
- Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives regarding HSE requirements.
- Ensure compliance with TAQA project safety requirements and standards.
- Investigate incidents/near misses and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct safety inductions and awareness training for employees and workers.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work procedures at site.
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering, HSE, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
- NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
- Minimum 2 years of UAE experience as an HSE Engineer/Officer.
- Previous experience working on TAQA projects is mandatory/preferred.
- Experience in electrical/infrastructure projects will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and site safety practices.
- Strong communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage site HSE requirements effectively.
- UAE experience is mandatory.
