We are looking for an experienced Civil Inspector – Wet Utilities to join our infrastructure project team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in wet utilities and infrastructure construction, with strong experience in stormwater works
.

• Inspect and monitor wet utility construction works, including stormwater, sewerage, potable water, irrigation, and associated networks
  .
• Conduct daily site inspections to ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, and project requirements.
• Inspect the installation of stormwater pipelines, manholes, catch basins, gullies, drainage structures, and associated works
  .
• Inspect sewerage, potable water, and irrigation pipelines and related structures as required.
• Review and verify Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by the Contractor and ensure works are ready for inspection.
• Monitor the quality of materials, workmanship, installation, bedding, back filling, compaction, and protection of wet utility networks.
• Witness and inspect testing activities, including pressure testing, leakage testing, CCTV inspection, and other applicable tests.
• Verify line, level, alignment, slopes, and invert levels of pipelines and drainage structures.
• Ensure construction works comply with approved shop drawings and project specifications.
• Identify defective or non-compliant works and coordinate with the Engineer and Contractor for corrective actions.
• Monitor the Contractor’s compliance with approved method statements, ITPs, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with surveyors and other disciplines to ensure correct setting out and levels.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, site activities, testing, and quality-related issues.
• Participate in site meetings and coordination activities as required.
• Support the Engineer in monitoring construction progress and quality of the works.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental requirements are followed during site activities.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in wet utilities and infrastructure construction, with strong experience in stormwater works
  .
• Good knowledge of stormwater, sewerage, potable water, and irrigation networks
  .
• Experience in inspecting pipelines, manholes, drainage structures, and associated infrastructure works.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, and inspection procedures.
• Experience working with contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• UAE infrastructure and Authority experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication and coordination skills.
