Leverage your technical leadership and join a strong fast-growing strong strong startup strong in strong Abu Dhabi strong leading innovation in strong electrical engineering consultancy strong with end-to-end solutions from concept studies to detailed design strong As an Assistant Resident Engineer strong you will supervise and coordinate construction activities across TAQA infrastructure and substation projects in Abu Dhabi The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site supervision construction inspections quality assurance HSE coordination and contractor management with proven experience in TAQA Transmission TAQA-T and or TAQA Distribution TAQA-D projects Work Location UAE Abu Dhabi
Key Accountabilities- Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings specifications project requirements and TAQA standards
- Monitor contractors performance work progress and adherence to project schedules and quality requirements
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate inspection requests to verify compliance with approved designs and technical specifications
- Review shop drawings material submittals method statements requests for information RFIs and other technical submissions
- Coordinate quality assurance and quantity control QA QC activities and ensure non-conformities are identified documented and resolved
- Monitor compliance with health safety and environmental HSE requirements and coordinate with relevant site personnel
- Coordinate with contractors consultants clients and relevant authorities to resolve technical issues and facilitate project execution
- Maintain accurate site records inspection reports progress reports and project documentation
- Identify construction challenges escalated critical issues and support timely resolution to minimize delays and rework
- Ensure construction activities comply with applicable TAQA-T and or TAQA-D requirements and authority procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering, relevant to the project discipline.
- Previous TAQA approval as Assistant Resident Engineer is mandatory.
- Proven experience in TAQA-T and/or TAQA-D projects.
- Experience in site supervision, construction inspections, QA/QC, HSE coordination and contractor management.
- Ability to review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs and inspection requests.
- Familiarity with TAQA standards, authority requirements and project documentation.
- Strong communication, reporting and site coordination skills.
- Previous experience with engineering consultancy firms in Abu Dhabi.
