Occupational Health & Safety, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Minimum 8 years of HSE experience in construction or renewable energy projects Experience managing HSE activities on large-scale solar PV construction projects ISO 14001 certification Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory Must be available to join within 1 month Bachelor s Degree in Engineering HSE Occupational Health Safety or a related discipline Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations international HSE standards and construction safety requirements Good command of English both written and spoken
Key Responsibilities- Develop implement and maintain the project HSE Plan procedures and risk control measures
- Lead and manage all HSE activities for the Solar PV construction site Ensure compliance with UAE regulations Client EPC requirements and project HSE standards
- Conduct regular site inspections HSE audits risk assessments and safety observations
- Review and approve Method Statements Risk Assessments and JSA JHA from an HSE perspective
- Monitor high-risk activities including lifting operations working at height electrical works excavation hot work and heavy equipment operations
- Manage Permit to Work PTW systems and ensure proper implementation
- Lead toolbox talks safety training inductions and emergency drills
- Investigate incidents near misses and unsafe conditions and implement corrective actions
- Monitor subcontractor HSE performance and ensure compliance with project requirements
- Prepare daily weekly and monthly HSE reports and statistics
- Coordinate with the Client Consultant EPC Contractor and subcontractors on HSE matters
- Lead emergency preparedness and response activities
- Ensure proper HSE documentation records and project handover requirements are maintained

Opportunity to work on a large-scale Utility-Scale Solar PV project in Abu Dhabi UAE
Candidates with GCC Utility-Scale Solar PV HSE management experience, particularly on large projects, will be preferred.
