Location: KN International Head Office, Abu Dhabi

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Head Office team in Abu Dhabi . The ideal candidate will have extensive pre-contract experience in the infrastructuresector, with strong expertise in cost estimation, quantity take-offs, BOQpreparation, tender documentation, and commercial risk assessment. The role involves developing accurate cost estimates and supporting effective cost planning to ensure projects remain commercially viable and aligned with client requirements.

• Reviewdesign drawings, specifications, and contract documents to understandproject requirements and scope of work.
• Prepare and check quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates covering materials, labour, equipment, and other project costs.
• Document the basis of estimates, including pricing, assumptions, exclusions, andcost comparisons.
• Breakdown project scope into work packages to support accurate cost estimation.
• Preparetender documents, scope sheets, and requests for quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Reviewquotations and compare costs with historical data and similar projects.
• Identify potential commercial and contractual risks and assess their possible impact on project costs.
• Maintain and update cost databases using historical project information and marketprices.
• Coordinate with engineers, estimators, and other team members to prepare accurate estimates that meet client requirements.

• Bachelor'sdegree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management,or a related field.
• 8-12years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years working ongovernment or major UAE infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience in pre-contract quantity surveying, cost estimation, BOQpreparation, and tendering.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and commercial requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and measurement software such as CostX or Plan Swift.
• Experience using estimating databases and historical cost information.
• Familiarity with project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and reporting skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Abilityto work effectively with different teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects is an advantage.
