AECOM is seeking a Civil Inspector
- Infrastructure to join its Transportation project team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The position involves inspecting and monitoring civil construction activities to ensure that infrastructure works comply with approved engineering drawings, technical specifications, construction method statements, and project quality requirements. The successful candidate will inspect roads, earthworks, pavements, drainage structures, concrete works, and associated civil infrastructure.

Responsibilities include verifying construction dimensions and levels, reviewing inspection requests, witnessing materials testing, identifying non-conforming work, and maintaining accurate quality documentation. Working closely with the Resident Engineer, Assistant Resident Engineer, contractors, surveyors, and other discipline inspectors, the Civil Inspector will support construction quality, technical coordination, and the successful completion of infrastructure works.

• Civil and Infrastructure Construction Inspection
  • Inspect civil construction activities involving roads, earthworks, pavements, kerbs, footpaths, and associated infrastructure structures.

• Concrete and Structural Works Inspection
  • Inspect concrete construction activities, including reinforcement installation, formwork, concrete placement, curing, and finishing.
  • Verify that concrete works comply with approved engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Monitor the quality of concrete construction and identify deviations from project requirements.
  • Witness concrete testing activities and review associated inspection information.
