Our client, a GCC–based bank is looking for an Assistant Branch Manager for its Abu Dhabi branch.
The candidate will be responsible to provide courteous, efficient service to all customers, perform transactions as quickly and efficiently as possible, combined with attention to detail/accuracy, thereby protecting the Bank's interests. Ensure optimum efficiency and customer / client satisfaction.
Primary job responsibilities- Respond to customer queries and complaints, complete transactions and service requests for customers within agreed turnaround time to ensure service provided is in line with service quality standards and bank policies and procedures.
- Supervise and control the daily activities of the Sales & Services Operations.
- Check & approve all transactions processed by makers to ensure accuracy and smooth Sales & services operations.
- Check and sign Account opening documentation and Authorize Retail Loans, Time deposits, etc., as required.
- Monitor Branch GL Accounts on daily basis and update.
- Ensure smooth workflow, plan, and implement improvements as and when necessary, after obtaining necessary approval.
- Deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face and respond promptly to their inquiries, handle and resolve customer complaints.
- Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries.
- Act as Custodian for Vault, Safe, ATM, Supervisor password and branch premises alarm/other security codes
- Set up new customer accounts, manage customers accounts and Maintain database as well as handling the account statements accordingly.
- Ensuring all customer needs are met in terms of banking services and inquires, which also extends to liaising and communicating with the respective internal departments for any customer related matter.
- Log and keep records of customer interactions, transactions, details of inquiries, comments, and complaints as per procedure.
- Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process to identify gaps or areas of improvement.
- Organize workflow to meet customer time frames.
- Provide pricing and delivery information.
- Process orders, forms, applications, and requests.
- Activation and closing of ATM cards (Customer Card Management CCM), manage request/reconcile ATM cards and Cheque book.
- Receive and respond to court notices from different courts within the UAE accordingly.
- Approve on CCMS UAECB portal on daily basis.
- Ensure that daily UAE Switch entries are transmitted and authorized
- Ensure KYC Documents/Customer IDs/FATCA/CRF forms are valid and follow up with the customer in case of expiry.
- Ensure that all customer data/information is up to date in the Account opening forms/mandate and are aligned with the data update in the system.
- Checking AMLOCK, Blacklist, AECB and Customer Rating System and ensure adherence to the AML, sanctions, counter terrorist financing and anti-bribery & corruption regulations.
- Ensure all High-Risk Customers/PEP are duly identified and updated as per the Bank Police and procedures.
- Handle any other assignment given by Department Head or Branch Management from time to time.
- Ensure implementation and strict adherence to Bank’s policies and procedures at all times.
- Check and assist Head of Branches & Administration - UAE in the timely submission of MIS reports to Head Office, Returns to Central Bank of the UAE and prompt reconciliation of all accounts.
- Prepare and submit the Data Reports related to Retail customer to UAE Compliance based on the periodic request
- Serving the SME clients and support the SME team.
- Support and backup the Central operation team such as opening/closings accounts, update KYC & CDD and other tasks.
