Job DescriptionThe Dental Assistant will support our dentists and hygienists in providing quality patient care. The assistant will perform clinical and administrative duties in a manner that supports the dental office environment, exhibits a professional demeanor, and shows respect and compassion for each patient. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: taking and recording medical histories; preparing patients for treatments; providing chair-side assistance;
sterilizing instruments; scheduling appointments; maintaining patient records; ordering supplies; answering phones; greeting visitors; providing general administrative support.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a dental assistant is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of dental procedures
- Knowledge of safety protocols
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
