Royal Joinery has its own dedicated workshop to assist clients on high-profile projects that require international expertise and a degree of workmanship that eliminates the need to source subcontractors and third-party furniture suppliers. Our primary focus is on carpentry and woodwork specialities across various projects and sectors, delivering sophisticated, qualified experts in their field and innovative techniques and equipment.

We are seeking a highly skilled Joinery Draughtsman who will create detailed technical drawings and specifications for joinery elements used in interior fit‑out projects. The role involves working closely with architects, designers, and project managers to ensure joinery components meet aesthetic and functional requirements.

• Technical Drawing:
  Create accurate and detailed technical drawings of joinery elements, including cabinets, doors, windows, and custom‑made furniture. Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and client specifications, and prepare shop drawings for fabrication and installation.
• Design Coordination:
  Collaborate with architects, designers, project managers, and other trades to understand the design concept, propose joinery solutions that align with the design vision, and coordinate seamless integration of joinery elements.
• Material Selection:
  Assist in selecting appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware for joinery components, taking into account durability, aesthetics, and budget.
• Quantity Takeoffs:
  Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs for joinery materials and components and provide cost estimates based on material pricing.
• Site Visits:
  Conduct site visits to verify measurements, review existing conditions, and address any issues related to joinery installation.
• Project Management:
  Assist in project planning and scheduling, monitor the progress of fabrication and installation, resolve any issues that arise, and help ensure that joinery work is completed on time and within budget.

• Diploma or equivalent.

• Proven experience as a draughtsman in the Joinery and interior fit‑out industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
• Deep understanding of interior fit‑out and joinery processes, materials, and construction techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
• 4-6 years of Joinery Draughting experience in the GCC/UAE is mandatory.
