Joinery Draftsman Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed joinery shop drawings based on approved architectural and interior design drawings.
• Develop production drawings for furniture, wardrobes, kitchens, doors, wall cladding, vanity units and other custom joinery items.
• Prepare material cutting lists, BOM, Bill of Materials, and production details.
• Coordinate with the Technical Office, Production, Procurement, and Site teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
• Review project specifications and identify any discrepancies before production.
• Revise drawings according to consultant, client or site comments.
• Coordinate with site engineers to verify dimensions and incorporate site measurements into shop drawings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, company procedures and quality requirements.
• Issue drawings according to the project schedule and maintain proper drawing revisions.
• Support production by providing technical clarifications whenever required.

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, interior design, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in joinery or furniture drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Experience with Sketch Up, Solid Works, or similar 3D software is an advantage.
• Good understanding of joinery construction details, woodworking materials, hardware, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read architectural and interior design drawings.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
