The Sales Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi. In this position, the individual meets with clients in showrooms or at project sites to understand their storage and kitchen needs, lifestyle, and design preferences. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating functional and visually appealing closet and kitchen layouts, preparing design proposals and quotations, and presenting solutions that align with client requirements and budgets.
The Sales Designer collaborates with design and production teams to ensure accurate measurements, proper material selection, and smooth coordination from concept to installation. The role also involves managing client relationships, following up on inquiries, updating project status, and supporting after-sales service to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Design and space-planning skills, including experience with closets and kitchen layouts and familiarity with interior design principles.
- Proficiency with design software (e.g., CAD or similar tools) for creating detailed drawings, 3D visuals, and accurate measurements.
- Sales and customer relationship skills for conducting client consultations, presenting proposals, negotiating terms, and closing deals.
- Communication and interpersonal skills for clearly explaining design concepts, collaborating with internal teams, and maintaining professional client interactions.
- Organizational and project coordination skills to manage multiple projects, track timelines, and ensure smooth execution from design to installation.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to address design challenges, customization requests, and on-site issues effectively.
- Experience in interior design, furniture design, or a related field; prior work in closets, kitchens, or bespoke cabinetry is an advantage.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
- Comfort working in an on-site environment in Abu Dhabi, with the ability to visit client locations as needed.
