Senior Manager, Master Planning

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Master Planning to lead the strategic planning and design management of landmark developments across the UAE. This is a leadership opportunity for a master planning professional who can translate vision into implementable development strategies while driving innovation, quality, and design excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design management of complex master planning projects from visioning and concept development through detailed master planning.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across feasibility, architecture, infrastructure, project delivery, and stakeholder groups to ensure integrated project outcomes.
- Review and oversee master plan submissions, ensuring compliance with Abu Dhabi planning requirements and regulatory frameworks.
- Manage external consultants, provide strategic design guidance, and ensure alignment with approved development briefs and organizational objectives.
- Lead presentations and design reviews with senior executives and key stakeholders.
- Develop RFPs, design briefs, scopes of work, and planning strategies for major developments.
- Champion innovation, sustainability, and industry best practices across all master planning initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Master Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- 12-15 years of experience within real estate development, urban planning, or master planning, including leadership responsibilities.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the UAE/GCC market with a proven track record delivering large-scale master-planned developments.
- Strong knowledge of land use planning, urban design principles, development frameworks, transportation networks, public realm design, and planning approvals.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, engage senior stakeholders, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Sketch Up/Revit, and master planning presentation tools.
- Abu Dhabi experience is a great advantage.
