Job description
Experience: Minimum 5 years
Employment Type: Full-time
We are looking for an experienced Technical Engineer (Civil or Architectural) to join our construction team in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review shop drawings, detailed drawings, and construction drawings
. - Review project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to identify technical requirements and discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit RFIs, material submittals, method statements, and technical documents
. - Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to resolve technical issues.
- Review and coordinate Civil and Architectural works with MEP and structural drawings.
- Ensure drawings and technical submissions comply with project specifications and authority requirements.
- Provide technical support to the site team and assist in resolving construction-related issues.
- Coordinate drawing revisions and maintain proper documentation and records.
- Conduct site visits when required to verify drawings and ensure proper execution of works.
- Assist with quantity take-offs and technical measurements when required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
. - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction.
- UAE construction experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and technical drawings.
- Good understanding of construction methods, specifications, and coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
