Position Overview Parsons is hiring a BIM-CAD Specialist in Abu Dhabi, UAE to support landscape design delivery across multidisciplinary projects. The role focuses on developing landscape BIM models and technical drawings using Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and related digital design platforms, with model development requirements ranging from LOD 100 to LOD 350. The BIM-CAD Specialist will provide project-specific technical support to design teams, coordinate clash detection activities, maintain digital design libraries, and help implement consistent BIM and CAD standards.

The position combines hands‑on landscape design production with model coordination, standards compliance, platform development, and user training.

• Provide project-specific BIM and CAD support to landscape and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Create landscape BIM models and drawings in Revit and Civil 3D to meet client requirements from LOD 100 through LOD 350.
• Prepare landscape drawings including general arrangements, grading plans, layouts, details, and related technical documentation.
• Develop drawings from sketches, engineering information, design inputs, and established project requirements.
• Perform clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks and Revizto.
• Apply established design and drafting standards, procedures, and technical requirements throughout project delivery.
• Compile design information and perform dimensional and routine calculations required for landscape drawings.
• Read and interpret orthographic 2D drawings, isometric 3D designs, and supplier or manufacturer drawings.

• Develop and maintain CAD and BIM libraries to improve consistency, efficiency, and platform utilization.
• Support development of project and organizational BIM-CAD standards.
• Assist with implementation of approved digital design standards across project teams.
• Use applicable technical manuals and directives to maintain compliance with project requirements and company procedures.
• Apply working knowledge of relevant information management and BIM standards, including ISO 19650 and BS 1192.

The BIM-CAD Specialist will work extensively with Autodesk design applications and multidisciplinary digital models. The role requires practical understanding of model development, drawing production, clash detection, design coordination, and information exchange within a BIM-enabled project environment.
