The role
Take a leading role in the development and delivery of projects from Design Development stage onwards Translate strong initial design concepts into well-coordinated buildable and commercially viable architectural solutions Maintain and protect the original design vision throughout technical development procurement and construction Lead the coordination of architectural packages with structural MEP landscape interior design and specialist consultants Review develop and coordinate drawing packages specifications material schedules and technical information Resolve detailed architectural construction and interface issues as projects progress Manage design information deadlines and deliverables across multiple work streams Work closely with project leaders senior designers and clients to ensure design decisions are clearly communicated and implemented Attend consultant coordination meetings technical workshops client presentations and site meetings where required Review contractor subcontractor and supplier information ensuring proposals align with the projectu
2019s architectural intent and technical requirements Support and mentor junior team members providing guidance on detailing coordination and project delivery
- Qualified Architect with a strong academic and professional background.
- ARB registered, or eligible to register in the UK.
- Ideally 7+ yearsu
2019 post-Part 3 experience, with demonstrable experience taking complex projects through detailed design and delivery. - A strong portfolio showing a high level of design sensitivity alongside technical and delivery capability.
- Experience working from Design Development / RIBA Stage 3 onwards, including technical design, tender and construction stages.
- Proven ability to preserve a projectu
2019s original architectural design and quality while responding pragmatically to programme, budget, regulatory and buildability requirements. - Confident coordinating consultants and managing complex interfaces across multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, construction detailing, materials and technical documentation.
- Experience on high-end, complex or large-scale projects would be highly advantageous.
- Backgrounds in mixed-use, residential, hospitality, commercial, cultural or master planning-led developments would be particularly relevant.
- Revit proficiency is preferred, alongside confidence using Adobe Creative Suite and common drawing/documentation packages.
- Clear communicator with strong written and verbal English skills.
- Proactive, collaborative and highly organised, with the confidence to take ownership of design and technical challenges.
