We are a waterproofing and concrete repair contractor based in Abu Dhabi, looking for a 2D AutoCAD Draftsman to join our office team.
Prepare 2D shop drawings, waterproofing details and as-built drawings in AutoCAD
Revise drawings based on consultant and client comments
Measure areas and quantities from drawings (quantity take-off)
Prepare marked-up drawings to support payment applications
Keep drawing files and revisions organised
Support the engineering team with other office tasks when drafting work is light
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a short practical AutoCAD test at our Abu Dhabi office.
Desired Candidate Profile2 to 4 years of experience as an AutoCAD draftsman, preferably in construction
Strong 2D AutoCAD skills (3D is not required)
Able to read architectural and structural drawings
Basic Microsoft Excel
Diploma in civil engineering, draughtsmanship or a related field
Currently in the UAE and able to join immediately
