I’m hiring a Senior Content Designer who gets excited about words one screen at a time, but the naming, patterns and rules that hold a whole product ecosystem together. Bonus points if you love the idea of AI understanding those rules as well as your teammates do.
Discover the companyYou’ll be joining a multi sector AI programme in the UAE that’s moving fast and thinking big. The products are live, they serve tens of thousands of people, and everything works in both Arabic and English.
Teams are lean and experienced, decisions happen quickly, and good work gets seen by senior leadership in a matter of weeks rather than months. Nothing here is a side experiment. It all ships. The programme has backing from the very top, and pay sits at big tech level
Discover the roleYou’ll be the person who shapes how the Design System speaks. That covers the vocabulary, the patterns and the tone that every product and brand draws from.
This isn’t about building components or polishing copy screen by screen. It’s about creating a shared foundation that makes everything clearer and more consistent, then writing it down in a way that designers, engineers and AI tools can all pick up and use. If you’re happy working in plain text files and repos as much as in Figma, you’ll feel right at home.
You don’t have to code. But you’ll care how things get built, and you’ll stay close enough to launch to make sure the words that go live are the ones you meant.
Discover the responsibilities- Build and grow the shared vocabulary that every product leans on.
- Figure out where brands should sound the same and where they should keep their own personality.
- Create go-to patterns for the moments that matter, like when something breaks or needs the user’s attention.
- Untangle the journeys where unclear wording leaves people stuck.
- Recognise when the real fix is in the flow or the service, not the sentence.
- Organise system knowledge so AI-powered workflows can work with it reliably.
- Decide where AI can be trusted to write and where it needs firm boundaries.
- Team up with Arabic and English experts so right-to-left is part of the plan from day one.
- Give teams the tools to get content right themselves, so you’re not rewriting everyone’s work.
- You’ve cracked content challenges that stretch across whole products, not just single flows.
- You naturally think in systems and have built guidelines or standards others actually use.
- You can tell when the problem isn’t the wording at all.
- You can keep multiple brands consistent while letting each one sound like itself.
- You’re at ease with taxonomies, structured documentation and working outside of design tools.
- You know how AI-assisted content work happens, including where it shines and where it goes wrong.
- You’re confident making the case to product, engineering, brand and leadership.
- You lift up the designers around you instead of holding all the knowledge yourself.
- Abu Dhabi, with help relocating you and your family
- Big tech level salary
- Visa sponsorship and medical insurance
