- Develop efficient test fits for data centers including data halls, MEP zones, and support areas
- Optimize layouts based on rack density, MW capacity, scalability, and phasing strategies
- Integrate redundancy principles (Tier III / IV) into architectural solutions
- Coordinate closely with MEP, structural, and ICT teams
- Deliver high-quality, rapid test fits for site selection and feasibility
- Evaluate multiple design scenarios considering constraints, capacity, and performance
- Translate technical requirements into clear spatial layouts and diagrams
- Lead client discussions, workshops, and presentations
- Communicate complex technical solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones
- Manage multiple parallel test fit packages under tight deadlines
- Ensure accuracy, coordination, and high-quality outputs
- Support design progression from concept to schematic stages
- Strong ownership, accountability, and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to lead small teams and mentor junior staff
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- 8 to 10 years of experience in architectural design within international consultancy environments
- Proven experience in data center projects (hyperscale, colocation, or enterprise)
- Strong track record in test fits, feasibility studies, and concept design delivery
- Experience working with hyperscaler clients (Microsoft, AWS, Google preferred)
- Sound knowledge of UAE/GCC authority requirements and permitting processes
- Proficiency in Revit (BIM), AutoCAD, and coordination tools (Navisworks preferred)
- Familiarity with Uptime Institute Tier standards, TIA-942, and industry best practices
- Professional registration (RIBA, AIA, ARB, or equivalent) preferred
