CONSULTANT ORTHOPAEDICS - HIP AND KNEE

We are seeking a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Hip and Knee Surgery for a leading facility in the UAE.

To provide expert surgical care in the diagnosis, management, and rehabilitation of hip and knee disorders, including joint preservation, replacement, and revision surgeries. The Consultant will deliver advanced orthopedic services in alignment with hospital standards for quality, safety, and patient-centered care.

• Evaluate and treat patients with a wide range of hip and knee conditions, including osteoarthritis, avascular necrosis, fractures, deformities, and ligamentous injuries.
• Perform specialized procedures such as total hip and knee replacements, revision arthroplasty, minimally invasive joint surgeries, and arthroscopies.
• Manage preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care, ensuring optimal recovery and rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, pain specialists, rheumatologists, and other specialists as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Conduct outpatient clinics, provide inpatient consultations, and lead orthopedic surgical rounds.
• Supervise junior surgeons, residents, and allied health professionals; contribute to clinical teaching and skills development.
• Ensure accurate documentation in the hospital electronic medical record systems, including operative reports, clinical notes, and discharge summaries.
• Participate in quality assurance, morbidity and mortality reviews, and continuous clinical improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to the hospital and DOH policies regarding patient safety, surgical protocols, infection control, and ethical standards.
