We are on the lookout for an experienced Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the diagnosis and surgical treatment of various conditions affecting the oral and maxillofacial region. This includes performing intricate surgical procedures such as tooth extractions, dental implants, and corrective jaw surgery, as well as managing facial trauma and infection.
We are seeking a surgeon who possesses not only the clinical skills necessary to perform advanced surgical techniques but also the compassion and communication skills to provide exceptional patient care. You will work closely with our dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Core Responsibilities:- Assess patient needs through comprehensive clinical examinations and diagnostic imaging.
- Formulate and execute personalized treatment plans based on individual patient conditions.
- Perform a range of surgical procedures with precision and care.
- Provide thorough pre-operative and post-operative care to ensure patient safety and recovery.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to deliver integrated patient care.
- Educate patients and their families regarding procedures, post-operative care, and recovery expectations.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or D.M.D. (Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
- Board certification and a current state dental license.
- At least 5 years of post-residency experience in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery.
- Extensive surgical experience with a variety of procedures in the specialty.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, focused on patient care.
- A commitment to continuing education and remaining current with advances in the field.
