Specialist Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation doctor is responsible for delivering high quality, evidence-based patient care.

• 3.1 The post holder examines, diagnoses, and treats patients as assigned and within the scope of license, training and credentialing.
• 3.2 Perform Outpatient rehabilitation medicine clinics
• 3.3 Participate and perform clinical and rehabilitation ward rounds
• 3.4 Evaluate newly referred patients and assess admission
• 3.5 Lead the rehabilitation medicine team in the provision of patient centered and goal orientated clinical care
• 3.6 Work closely with other clinical team members to ensure the delivery of the best possible rehabilitation care
• 3.7 Advise on rehabilitation potential and needs of patients
• 3.8 Accurately documents all relevant clinical information in a clear and timely manner
• 3.9 Reviews results of all investigation and modifies treatment in a timely manner
• 3.10 Supervises and supports newly appointed physicians as determined by the physician in charge
• 3.11 Communicates information to patients and patients families and friends (with consent of the patient or relatives) in a timely manner
• 3.12 Maintains a good working relationship with members of staff and promotes collaboration and a team-based approach to patient care
• 3.13 Complies with all facility policies regarding admissions, consultations, daily patient care, procedures, prescribing and discharge protocols.
• 3.14 Adheres to established policies regarding patient confidentiality and informed consent
• 3.15 Perform other clinical responsibilities as assigned
• 3.16 Comply with all OSH and infection control policies, standards and procedures and cooperate with hospital management to comply those requirements
• 3.17 Work accordance with the documented OSH procedures and instructions, specific responsibilities
• 3.18 Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures
• 3.19 Notifying OSH Hazards, incidents, Near misses and issues and assistance with the preparation of risk assessments, incident reports
• 3.20 Comply with Waste management procedures and policies
• 3.21 Attend applicable OSH/Infection control training programs, mock drills and awareness programs
• 3.22 Use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems

• 4.1 Education that meets HAAD PQR which leads for a specialist License in Physical and Rehabilitation.
• 4.2 NLT 2 years’ experience as specialist, post qualification in internationally accredited institute.
• 4.3 Valid HAAD License
• 4.4 Valid BLS provider certificate
• 4.5 Expertise in rehabilitation medicine procedures and interventions
