Geriatric Medicine Doctor

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Geriatric Medicine Doctor to join our esteemed healthcare team. In this critical role, you will focus on the health needs of older adults, utilizing your expertise to improve their quality of life through comprehensive medical care.

• Conduct detailed evaluations and assessments of geriatric patients, focusing on their medical history, physical health, mental well-being, and social circumstances
• Develop and implement tailored care plans aimed at managing chronic conditions and promoting overall health
• Provide guidance on preventive care and lifestyle modifications to enhance the well-being of elderly patients
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic and coordinated care to patients
• Maintain accurate and compliant medical records, highlighting patient progress and treatment plans
• Engage with patients and their families to educate them about health issues and effective management strategies
• Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in geriatric medicine through continuous education and professional development

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Geriatric Medicine or relevant specialty
• Active medical license to practice in the applicable state
• 3-5 years of experience working with elderly patients or in geriatric care
• Comprehensive knowledge of chronic illness management and age-related health concerns
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
• Proficiency in working collaboratively with healthcare teams
