Responsibilities
Perform intricate surgical procedures to correct facial and dental anomalies ensuring optimal aesthetic and functional outcomes. Diagnose and manage conditions affecting the mouth, jaws, and face leveraging advanced imaging techniques for precise assessments. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including orthodontists and prosthodontists to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to patient needs. Educate patients on pre-operative and post-operative care empowering them to make informed decisions about their treatment.
QualificationsDoctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited institution, reflecting a solid educational foundation. Completion of an accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program, demonstrating specialized training and expertise. Board certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery, validating professional competency and adherence to industry standards. A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in oral maxillofacial surgery, showcasing a deep understanding of complex cases.
