Role Overview

As a Consultant in Pediatric Intensive Care PICU you will provide specialized critical care to infants children and adolescents with life-threatening illnesses and injuries You will manage complex pediatric intensive care cases lead multidisciplinary treatment plans and work closely with pediatric subspecialists surgeons anesthesiologists and emergency medicine teams to ensure the highest standards of patient care This is an excellent opportunity for experienced consultants seeking PICU Jobs in Abu Dhabi within a modern tertiary healthcare environment

• Provide comprehensive care for critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU.
• Manage patients requiring advanced ventilatory support.
• hemodynamic monitoring and organ support.
• Diagnose and treat severe infections sepsis trauma respiratory failure and other critical conditions.
• Perform PICU procedures including airway management central venous access and critical care interventions.
• Lead multidisciplinary rounds and coordinate treatment plans with healthcare teams.
• Participate in on-call rotations and emergency response services.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare standards.
• Support quality improvement initiatives teaching and clinical governance activities

• MBBS with MD/DNB and Fellowship in Pediatric Intensive Care.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a PICU Consultant.
• Expertise in ventilatory support, sepsis management, trauma care, and pediatric critical care procedures.
• Strong leadership and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
• Western Board or equivalent certification preferred.
• Valid UAE license or eligibility (DOH/DHA/MOH).
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations.
