Consultant General Surgery Colorectal

As a Consultant General Surgeon specializing in Colorectal Surgery you will diagnose and treat patients with benign and malignant colorectal diseases using advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgical techniques You will collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology gastroenterology radiology and rehabilitation teams to deliver evidence-based high-quality surgical care

• Diagnose and manage colorectal diseases in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Perform advanced colorectal surgical procedures using laparoscopic and minimally invasive techniques
• Treat patients with colorectal cancer inflammatory bowel disease IBD diverticular disease and anorectal disorders
• Develop individualized surgical treatment and post-operative care plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board meetings where applicable
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with DOH and hospital standards
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives clinical research and continuing medical education

• Medical Degree (MBBS) with MS/MD in General Surgery.
  
  Fellowship in Colorectal Surgery.
• Minimum 5 years of Consultant-level experience.
• Expertise in managing colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), anorectal disorders, and complex colorectal conditions.
• Proficiency in advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive colorectal surgery.
• Board certification (UK / Europe / US or equivalent preferred).
• Valid DOH / DHA / MOH License or eligibility.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
