The Role A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in UAE is expanding its high-acuity emergency department, trauma and resuscitation services and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Emergency Medicine Physician to join its growing clinical team. Role Overview The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead assessment and stabilisation of emergency, trauma, cardiac, medical, surgical and pediatric presentations
- Run resuscitation, airway management, procedural sedation and critical decision-making in the emergency department
- Triage complex cases, supervise emergency teams and coordinate timely specialist referrals
- Ensure safe patient flow, observation unit decisions, transfers and discharge planning
- Participate in disaster preparedness, trauma protocols, simulation training and clinical governance
- Maintain accurate emergency documentation, medico-legal compliance and patient safety standards
- American Board of Emergency Medicine
- UK CCT / FRCEM
- European Board of Emergency Medicine
- Royal College Certification (Canada)
- Australian FACEM
- Arab Board
- MD / DNB / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
