A leading healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its Women s Health and Obstetrics Gynaecology services and is seeking a qualified Consultant Obstetrician Gynaecologist to join its multidisciplinary clinical team. The position focuses on providing comprehensive evidence-based obstetric and gynaecological care within a modern tertiary healthcare environment.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to work alongside internationally trained obstetricians gynaecologists maternal-fetal medicine specialists surgeons and multidisciplinary clinical teams while utilizing advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies and patient-safety protocols.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care to women across the antenatal intrapartum postpartum and gynaecological care pathways while ensuring patient safety high-quality clinical outcomes and evidence-based practice.
Qualifications & Board RecognitionApplications are welcome from physicians holding recognised specialist qualifications such as:
- American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG)
- UK CCT / MRCOG
- Royal College Certification (Canada)
- Australian / New Zealand Fellowship (FRANZCOG)
- Arab Board MD, DNB, DrNB, FCPS, or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
Candidates should meet the eligibility requirements of the relevant UAE healthcare licensing authority. Licensing guidance and support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive consultations, clinical assessments, and management plans for obstetric and gynaecological patients
- Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care in accordance with evidence-based clinical guidelines
- Manage normal and high-risk pregnancies and identify patients requiring specialist or multidisciplinary care
- Provide care during labour and delivery, including management of obstetric emergencies when required
- Perform Caesarean sections and other obstetric procedures within the physician s scope of practice
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of gynaecological conditions
- Perform appropriate gynaecological surgical procedures, including minimally invasive procedures where credentialed
- Provide comprehensive assessment and management of menstrual, reproductive, hormonal and menopausal disorders
- Evaluate and manage infertility and reproductive health conditions where applicable to the physician s scope of practice
- Provide appropriate counselling regarding contraception, family planning and women s health
- Recognize and manage obstetric and gynaecological emergencies
- Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine specialists, neonatologists, anaesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing teams and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and clinical documentation
- Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
- Support teaching, mentoring and professional development of junior physicians and clinical staff

- Minimum 3+ years of relevant post-specialist or post-board clinical experience
- Strong clinical experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
