ObGyn GP

OBGYN General Practitioners GPs Provide professional obstetrical and gynecological medical services for patients at Kanad Hospital primarily within the Urgent Care Center UCC setting He She will assist in the management of obstetric and gynecological patients in collaboration with Specialists and Consultants The GP will support inpatient care activities assist in admission tasks and participate in clinical care under supervision The GP will perform medically related duties as required with clear escalation to Specialist and Consultant levels for clinical decision-making admissions procedural care and management of complex or high-risk cases

• Inpatient Ward 6 2 1 Assists in ward activities and may participate in rounds under the supervision of the Consultant and Specialist
• 6 2 2 Assists in patient assessment monitoring and follow-up as directed by supervising physicians
• 6 2 3 Assists with admission tasks however formal admission clinical decision-making and completion of admission documentation remain the responsibility of the Specialist or Consultant
• 6 2 4 Ensures appropriate documentation of assigned tasks
• Operating Room 6 3 1 Assists in the operating room in procedures for preoperative and postoperative patient care as directed
• 6 3 2 Assists in surgical procedures within scope of role
• 6 3 3 The GP is not permitted to perform surgical procedures independently
• Labour and Delivery 6 4 1 Assists the healthcare team in Labour and Delivery under supervision of Specialist and Consultant
• 6 4 2 Participates in patient monitoring and supportive care activities as directed
• 6 4 3 May only intervene in Labour and Delivery in emergency situations when no Specialist or Consultant is immediately available and only to the extent required to ensure patient safety until appropriate senior support is available

Degree:
Medical Doctor Degree Experience :
Minimum 2 years' recent experience post qualification in a hospital setting in ObGyn License - Must be DOH/DHA licensed or DOH passer or DOH exam exempted
