We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Emergency Medicine Specialist / Consultant with an American Board qualification to join a leading healthcare institution in the UAE. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive emergency care to infants, children, and adolescents presenting with acute and critical medical conditions.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssess, diagnose, stabilize, and manage pediatric patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
Provide timely and evidence-based treatment for medical, surgical, traumatic, and critical pediatric emergencies.
Manage pediatric resuscitation and critically ill patients.
Perform emergency procedures within the scope of clinical practice.
Coordinate care with pediatric specialists, intensive care teams, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
Determine appropriate admission, referral, discharge, and follow-up plans.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives.
Support teaching, training, and supervision of junior medical staff where required.
Comply with UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and professional standards.
American Board Certification in the relevant specialty.
Valid medical registration in the country of practice.
Relevant experience in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
Current BLS, PALS, and other relevant emergency certifications.
Strong clinical, communication, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively in a high-volume emergency department.
Eligible for UAE medical licensing, subject to the relevant health authority's assessment.
