Internal Medicine Specialist

Job description

Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced Specialist Internal Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.

The ideal candidate should have strong clinical judgment and a patient-centered approach.

• Conduct comprehensive consultations, physical examinations, and medical assessments.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic internal medicine conditions .
• Manage conditions including hypertension, diabetes, respiratory disorders, infections, gastrointestinal diseases, and cardiovascular risk factors.
• Evaluate complex and multi-system medical conditions.
• Interpret laboratory investigations, ECGs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
• Manage acute medical conditions and coordinate appropriate hospital admission when required.
• Provide preventive healthcare, health-risk assessment, and lifestyle counseling.
• Coordinate care with cardiologists, endocrinologists, gastroenterologists, nephrologists, pulmonologists, and other specialists.
• Provide comprehensive follow-up for patients with chronic diseases and multiple comorbidities.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare standards.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, teaching, and continuing medical education.

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MD / DNB / MRCP / Arab Board or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine.
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization clinical experience preferred.
• Strong experience in general adult medicine and management of complex medical cases.
• Excellent diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.
