Consultant​/Specialist - Pediatrics in Leading Healthcare Facility

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Consultant / Specialist Pediatrician to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive, evidence-based medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, while maintaining high standards of patient safety, clinical quality, and professional practice.

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for pediatric patients.

• Manage acute, chronic, and complex pediatric medical conditions.

• Conduct detailed pediatric consultations and physical examinations.

• Develop individualized treatment and management plans based on clinical findings and current medical guidelines.

• Manage pediatric emergencies and provide appropriate stabilization and escalation of care.

• Monitor growth, development, nutrition, and vaccination status.

• Provide preventive healthcare and counseling to children and their families.

• Identify cases requiring specialist or multidisciplinary intervention and arrange appropriate referrals.

• Interpret relevant laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic investigations.

• Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records and clinical documentation.

• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, audits, and quality-improvement initiatives.

• Support junior doctors, residents, nurses, and other healthcare professionals where applicable.

• Follow UAE healthcare regulations, facility policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety protocols.

• Maintain professional competence through continuing medical education and relevant professional development.

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.

• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics / Paediatrics.

• Relevant post-specialty clinical experience.

• Strong experience in general pediatrics and management of common pediatric conditions.

• Experience in pediatric emergency care is an advantage.

• Valid professional registration/license in the country of practice.

• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient-management skills.

• Consultant candidates:
  Appropriate senior-level qualifications and substantial post-specialty experience.

• Candidates with UK CCT/UK specialist qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, or South African Board are highly encouraged to apply.
