Job description
- The ER Physician,working for Aspen Medical in support of the United Nations Office in Somalia (UNSOS), will provide critical emergency medical care to both UN personnel and local populations, in line with the contract, managing trauma, medical emergencies, and urgent health conditions.
- The role requires a highly skilled physician who can handle high-pressure situations and work in a dynamic, often resource-constrained environment.
- This position is integral to ensuring that the medical team delivers prompt, efficient, and quality care in line with UNSOS protocols and international medical standards.
- Clinical activities are achieved and delivered within agreed time frames and are compliant with medical standards in accordance with the client contract and International regulations as appropriate.
- The provision of a comprehensive evidence-based Emergency service within a multidisciplinary framework within the ER and associated areas.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with the Client and uphold the professional reputation and service delivery for Aspen Medical.
- Maintain contemporary clinical practice, knowledge, skills and protocols through active learning by engaging in professional development activities.
