Specialist – Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
SEHA Salma Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a qualified and experienced Specialist in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) to join our multidisciplinary rehabilitation healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage patients requiring medical rehabilitation and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Coordinate rehabilitation care with Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, and other multidisciplinary team members.
- Support patients with functional limitations arising from neurological, musculoskeletal, and other complex or critical care conditions.
- Monitor rehabilitation progress, functional outcomes, and continuity of care.
- Contribute to safe, patient-centred, evidence-based rehabilitation services and quality improvement initiatives.
- Recognized Medical Degree with a postgraduate qualification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) or an equivalent specialty qualification.
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant clinical experience in a long-term care facility.
- Experience in rehabilitation and management of patients with complex and/or long-term care needs is highly desirable.
- Valid professional license or eligibility, in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements, including DoH passer/license, DHA license, or MOH license.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, leadership, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
