The successful candidate will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation planning for athletes and physically active individuals experiencing sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions. The position focuses on acute and chronic sports injuries, injury prevention, rehabilitation, safe return to sport, and physical performance optimization.

The physician will develop individualized treatment plans using evidence‑based clinical approaches and appropriate diagnostic investigations. Working closely with orthopedic surgeons, physiotherapists, radiologists, rehabilitation specialists, and other healthcare professionals, the consultant will support coordinated musculoskeletal care and effective rehabilitation outcomes.

• Sports Injury Assessment and Diagnosis
  - Conduct comprehensive sports medicine consultations and musculoskeletal assessments.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic sports-related injuries.
• Evaluate muscle, ligament, tendon, and joint injuries affecting athletes and active individuals.
• Assess overuse injuries and other musculoskeletal conditions associated with physical activity.
• Perform appropriate clinical examinations and evaluate relevant diagnostic investigations.
• Interpret clinical imaging and investigation findings to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Develop individualized management strategies based on injury characteristics, functional limitations, and patient goals.
• Sports Medicine Treatment and Procedures
  - Provide evidence‑based treatment for sports injuries and musculoskeletal disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating appropriate medical management and rehabilitation.
• Perform ultrasound‑guided procedures and injections where appropriately trained.
• Monitor treatment responses and adjust clinical management plans according to patient progress.
• Coordinate specialist consultations when additional orthopedic or rehabilitation assessment is required.
