OverviewA premium private hospital in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Specialist Physician in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to provide inpatient and ward-based care for women requiring obstetric and gynaecological assessment treatment and follow-up. The physician will work collaboratively with consultants midwives nursing teams and other specialists to support safe and effective care throughout the patient s hospital stay.
Clinical Responsibilities- Assess and manage obstetric and gynaecological patients admitted to the ward
- Monitor maternal health and pregnancy-related conditions within the scope of clinical privileges
- Provide appropriate inpatient care before and after obstetric and gynaecological procedures
- Recognize clinical deterioration and elevate urgent or complex cases promptly
- Coordinate diagnostic investigations treatment plans and specialist consultations
- Monitor recovery manage appropriate follow-up and support discharge planning
- Explain diagnoses treatment options and care plans to patients
- Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with patient-safety and infection-control standards
- Participate in ward rounds clinical handovers audits and quality-improvement initiatives

Recognized specialist qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Specialist-level experience consistent with applicable UAE licensing requirements. Eligibility for, or an active licence from, the relevant UAE health authority, as required. Competence in inpatient obstetric and gynaecological care. Strong communication, clinical judgment, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills. Commitment to patient-centred care and established clinical standards.
