A premium private hospital in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Specialist Physician in Emergency Medicine to provide timely assessment stabilization and treatment for patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries. The role requires sound clinical judgment efficient prioritization and effective collaboration with emergency nursing staff and other hospital departments.
Clinical Responsibilities- Assess and manage patients presenting with acute medical surgical and traumatic conditions
- Perform initial stabilization and initiate appropriate emergency treatment
- Prioritize patients according to clinical urgency and severity
- Recognize and manage time-critical conditions including cardiac emergencies stroke symptoms sepsis and respiratory distress
- Coordinate diagnostic investigations specialist referrals and patient admissions or transfers
- Perform emergency procedures within the scope of training and clinical privileges
- Communicate clearly with patients families and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate emergency records and follow patient-safety protocols
- Participate in clinical audits emergency preparedness activities and quality-improvement initiatives
