Job Description
Cranleigh Abu Dhabi is currently seeking a Teaching Assistant (UAE National). This is an exciting opportunity to join the highly successful Aldar family of schools and to help shape the future of Abu Dhabi’s leading school group.

Responsibilities
Classroom Support
- Work with groups or individuals to support learning across the curriculum.
- Use school policies and methods to help pupils (e.g., phonics, math strategies).
- Record pupil activities and assist with administrative tasks like preparing resources, setting up the classroom, and creating displays.
- Encourage independence by questioning, modeling, and supporting personal organization and hygiene.
- Build positive relationships with pupils through meaningful communication, enthusiasm, patience, and respect.
- Supervise pupils during breaks, school trips, transitions, and specialist lessons.
- Manage behavior positively and act as a role model.
- Work closely with the class teacher to ensure effective communication and lesson preparation.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Be proactive in seeking support or training for personal development.
- Report concerns about pupils to the class teacher.
- Stay flexible and contribute actively to the school community.
Minimum Education
- High School Certificate
- 1 year of experience as a Teaching Assistant
- UAE National Role
- To be able to develop positive working relationships with all members of the school community from children to teaching staff to administrative staff to parents.
- To be able to use initiative, be flexible and have a positive attitude.
- To be able to support children in all aspects of school life and help them to become independent learners.
