The College of Medicine and Health Sciences (CMHS), UAE University, is seeking to appoint a full-time faculty member to contribute to its teaching, research, and consultancy activities in Biostatistics.

Key responsibilities include:

• Teaching biostatistics to undergraduate medical students and graduate students, including the inaugural MSc in Clinical Research
• Conducting advanced statistical research and supervising PhD students
• Participating in curriculum development and academic program enhancement
• Initiating and serving as principal investigator for research projects relevant to the health of communities in the UAE
• Collaborating with colleagues in CMHS and other UAEU colleges, local and regional institutions, and educational establishments, health authorities, government agencies, and other institutions in the UAE and the wider region
• Engaging in international collaboration
• Sharing administrative responsibilities in the IPH and CMHS, including serving on committees, coordinating courses, invigilating examinations, and contributing to student assessments

• PhD degree in Biostatistics or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience in teaching biostatistics or related courses at the university level

• PhD degree in Biostatistics with relevant experience in advanced biostatistical methods, deep learning, machine learning, and longitudinal models
• A strong record of research with publications in peer-reviewed journals
