Position Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced PMP-certified professional to join our training team as a PMP Tutor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing candidates for the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification exam, providing in-depth guidance on project management concepts, exam strategies, and best practices aligned with the PMBOK® Guide and PMI standards. The role combines teaching, mentoring, and coaching to ensure candidates achieve success in their certification in PMP or similar certification journey.
Key Responsibilities 1. Training & Tutoring- Conduct structured tutoring sessions, both one-on-one and group-based, for PMP aspirants.
- Explain project management knowledge areas, processes, and terminologies as per the PMBOK® Guide.
- Provide practical examples and case studies to clarify complex concepts.
- Design and deliver exam-focused study plans tailored to individual or group needs.
- Conduct mock tests and practice quizzes to evaluate progress and readiness.
- Teach time management, question analysis, and answer strategies for the PMP exam.
- Identify weak areas and provide targeted coaching to strengthen knowledge.
- Develop and maintain training materials, slides, exercises, and handouts.
- Ensure all content is updated according to the latest PMBOK® Guide edition and PMI guidelines.
- Incorporate interactive teaching tools and online platforms where applicable.
- Provide guidance on career paths in project management and professional growth.
- Offer support and motivation throughout the study process.
- Maintain records of student progress and provide detailed feedback.
- Collaborate with the training team to align tutoring sessions with organizational learning objectives.
- Prepare reports on student progress, attendance, and exam readiness.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to course improvement.
- PMP Certification (mandatory) from PMI.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience.
- Proven experience in training, coaching, or tutoring project management concepts.
- Strong knowledge of PMBOK® Guide, PMI standards, and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
