Job Description Aldar Education are currently seeking a Mathematics Teacher to support our growing family of schools, joining at the start of the 2026/2027 academic year in August. Responsibilities- Deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed and achieve the best possible outcomes.
- Foster teamwork and collaboration and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Develop positive relationships with all members of the school community.
- Plan engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements in collaboration with fellow teachers.
- Liaise with colleagues and work flexibly.
- Work with parents to ensure student happiness and academic success.
- Collaborate with curriculum support staff to support children’s development.
- Show clear understanding of the curriculum and organise classroom provision and learning resources.
- Plan, prepare and present sessions catering to the entire ability range within the class.
- Use enthusiastic and imaginative teaching to motivate pupils.
- Observe and assess children in line with school assessments and reflect to adjust environment, planning and curriculum.
- Meet with other professionals such as speech, language, occupational therapists and educational psychologists when required.
- Embed the Al Mamoura Academy Teacher and Learner DNA language and attitudes throughout the curriculum.
- Take responsibility for class progress, record student development using Target Tracker and use data to influence further planning, provision and intervention.
- Provide feedback to parents and carers during Parent Teacher Conferences and other meetings.
- Follow the school’s behaviour policy and manage classes effectively, using approaches appropriate to students’ needs.
- Maintain good relationships with pupils, exercise appropriate authority, and act decisively within the school’s behavioural policy.
- Serve as a positive role model, demonstrating consistent positive attitudes, values and behaviour.
- Promote self‑control and independence with high expectations of behaviour.
- Carry out duties as directed and within the school’s policy.
- Support curriculum action groups and contribute to planning, assessment, resources and special events.
- Assist in organising and participating in school events, outings, and activities, including weekends or evenings.
- Communicate effectively with parents/carers regarding student achievements and well‑being using school systems such as CPOMS.
- Make a positive contribution to the wider life and ethos of the school.
- Run a weekly ECA each term.
- Minimum:
Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education with a mandatory post‑teaching qualification (PGCE). - Minimum 1‑2 years teaching experience.
- Mandatory experience teaching the England National Curriculum.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
- Experience working with EAL students.
- Approachable, professional, calm and knowledgeable.
- Ability to deal professionally with a range of stakeholders.
- Passion for teaching and commitment to educating and nurturing children.
- High level of professionalism and consideration for the well‑being of children.
