Tutor - Abu-Dhabi
We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Tutor to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful applicant will provide tutoring services to students of all ages, helping them to achieve academic excellence. We are open to consider a foreign national for this role, who is willing and able to comply with the requirements of the UAE working visa process.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in their field and be able to use interactive methods such as lesson plans, activities, presentations, and technology-based learning tools. They must also possess excellent communication skills as they will be responsible for providing timely feedback on student's progress. The successful applicant should be patient, organized, and have a passion for teaching and helping students reach their potential.
Responsibilities:
• Instruct students in all subject areas including language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, literature and foreign languages
• Develop curriculum that meets the educational needs of each student
• Monitor student's performance and progress by assessing their work through quizzes and tests
• Facilitate communication between parents/guardians and other school personnel regarding the student's performance
• Provide individualized instruction that meets the unique needs of each student
• Create positive learning environment by establishing relationships with students based on trust and mutual respect
• Stay up-to-date with changes in curriculum standards or educational technologies
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field;
Master’s degree preferred
• Proven experience as a tutor or teacher; experience teaching at international schools is highly desired
• Excellent communication skills; fluency in English is required
• Ability to build rapport with students quickly
• Ability to use technology such as online tools and software programs effectively
